Flip Topic 1 - Different types of infographic and online tools

Group 1 and 2 were given this task according to the slide given. As we were group 2 our members created infograhic about different types of infographic using the online tool given and gave reviews of the online tool.

Exercise 1

Quantify & Visualize Data

For this exercise, mix of original and peanut m&m were used. Total 21 m&m sweets are used.

According to the feedback given, the outcome should have title or some texts explaining what each visual represent.

Final Outcome

For final outcome for M&M mix, more visual elements were added and sub title next to Jake the dog.

Exercise 2

Saul Wurman's L.A.T.C.H

On this exercise, students were to use LATCH and create infographics based on any topic.

Four Elemental of Adventure time was chosen to proceed with this exercise.

The idea was to follow the general theme and vibe of the rough title cards drawn by the developers of Adventure time.

Final Outcome

Followed the aesthetic of the rough title cars of the adventure time. To show the location, the map of the land of Ooo is placed in the center. in this timeline, the land of Ooo was divided specifically in 4 sections of Candy, Ice, Fire and Slime. Each illustrated cards shows the Princess of each kingdom, and to show hierarchy, the citizens are drawn below each cards.

Feedback

the citizens in each kingdom were too small, and suggested to be enlarged and placed next to the Princesses to each kingdom.

Exercise - After Effect

For this exercise, students were made to create typo kinetic animations using After effects. This exercise was to build basic skills of creating typographic animation using After Effects.

Progress

The idea was inspired by apple device interface of how they greet the users by saying hello in multiple languages.
