Reflection

What have I learnt in this module?

Through out this module I have learnt how to research journal articles to conduct studies that I have interests in, and knowledge that I will be needing in future studies for this course. I have also learned how to conduct researches based on my studies.

What did I enjoy the most?

As I continued my research I have gained lot of knowledge and information that I was not aware of and it was fun to develop deeper understanding of illustration which I am hugely interested in. 

What did I not enjoy the most?

It was fun to read and gain data and knowledge but it was hard to write them down and had trouble organizing the data collected.

What have I learnt about myself through this module?

I learned that this module was a weak spot for me as I had to sit down and research and write for hours. I also had troubles with following instructions given as I was not familiar with this kind of assignments. In the end I have learned to collect data and write long research papers and gained good experience.

What has changed and what had not in my learning journey?

I learned that I had lots to learn about illustration and how they are used in the industry. I had found out that there were lots of journals and studies on illustrations that I didn't know of or never even think of. At the beginning all i wanted to do was to draw and design but through this module, the importance of research became very clear to me. the module helped me to obverse the design and illustration in a different view and how designers and illustrators works in the industry. Further more i have learnt how to write research report and how to search journal articles relevant to my studies much faster and effectively.
