Lecturer went through our first exercise and skills to do Hearst mansion and introduced us for second exercise of ghost mansion.

Exercise 2 : Ghost mansion
week 2 (23.04.20)
In this exercise three images were given, a house, a ghost and dark cloud
scenery. The images given were to be Photoshop in together.
Developed more understanding on blending techniques of using curves,
opacity, paint tool and through this exercise.
Final outcome
Tutorial
On this tutorial, collage art was introduced. Were given exercises to come up with three different collage variations and choose one as final outcome. Studies of movie poster and research on collage arts on pinterest were helpful on this exercise
First collage arrangement
Upward flow were given by cactus pointing upward on the left as well as cactus logo of the motel placed right above. The typography are placed as stairs witch indicates moving upwards.
Second collage arrangement
Given a flow moving towards left. A person wearing a costume leaning towards left. Spaceman with cowboy hat facing to the left. Typographical elements moving towards the left.
Third collage arrangement
Most of the elements were placed at the right creating negative space on the left side. Typographical elements fulfill the negative space making it more visible and creates more attention.
As for the final outcome I chose the the first arrangement as all the elements were more visible, and the upward motion was well placed.
